These past few days, looking at on-chain data has made me a bit amused (and a bit annoyed), the time difference I see for the same transaction on different websites can be several minutes, and sometimes the status is even different. It wasn't until later that I realized: you think you're "looking at the chain," but in many cases, you're actually looking at the results output by other nodes/RPC, plus the update pace of indexing services, so delays or misses are quite normal... Basically, it's just going to be late.

Especially when new L1/L2s launch incentives and pull in TVL aggressively, the on-chain activity gets even hotter, and the lag in indexing becomes more obvious. I can also understand the complaints from veteran users about "mining, selling, and dumping": you check the data and think it's okay, but after a while, when you refresh, it changes again, and your mindset can be played with. Anyway, now when I look at NFT/ fund flows, I try to check from two sources; if they don't match, I just pretend nothing happened for now. After minting, I close the software, and that's it.
