Just looked into Pakistan's currency story and it's honestly eye-opening ๐Ÿ‘€ From 1947 to mid-50s, the rupee held steady at 3.31 against the dollar. Then things started shifting. By the late 50s it moved to 4.76, and honestly stayed there for over a decade. But here's where it gets wild - from the 80s onwards, the depreciation just accelerated. We're talking 20 PKR in 1989, then jumping to 63 PKR by 2001. The pace kept picking up through the 2010s and 2020s. Fast forward to 2023-2024, and you're looking at 277-286 PKR per dollar. That's a massive devaluation over 75 years. When you think about USDT to PKR conversions or any stablecoin pairs, you're essentially seeing the same pressure. The rupee's been under serious strain, especially in recent years. Makes you wonder what factors have been driving this - inflation, external pressures, all of it. Wild how much a currency can shift over time. #BTC #usdtstory
