My simple approach is to treat "interacting" as work hour management: only do protocols I understand and find useful, keep the limits small, withdraw when possible, and don't turn your wallet into a punch card just for a snapshot that might not even exist. I've seen too many blockchain games with inflation + studios + coin price spirals collapse; when incentives get too fat, yield farmers look more like users than actual users... Anyway, I now prefer to wait two more days for confirmation rather than becoming the material in a proposal that says "long-term participant."
