These past two days, memes’ excitement has once again taken over the screens. In the group, once people get carried away, they’re quick to treat “narrative” like a protective charm… To put it plainly: no matter how good the narrative is, it can’t stop a single big red candle. My clumsy workaround is this: first, figure out whether what I’m buying is emotion or logic. If it’s emotion, don’t pretend to hold it long—write down before entering, “the most I can lose and still sleep,” and when you reach that point, leave, even if it keeps flying later. I’ll accept it.

And then there’s social mining, fan tokens—people shout, “attention is mining.” It sounds pretty great, but I always feel like it’s pressuring you to stay online and work overtime all the time. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than hand my stop-loss over to the emotional ride of the timeline. Wait slowly; “pull hair” is the same—lasting longer is more reliable than going all-in at once.
