Bitmine Adds Staking of 112,000 ETH, Total Surpasses $8.8 Billion
The crypto company Bitmine, led by Tom Lee, is once again increasing its exposure to Ethereum through staking activities.
Bitmine reportedly added staking of 112,656 ETH valued at approximately $260 million.
With this addition, the total ETH staked by Bitmine reaches around 3,814,245 ETH, with a valuation of about $8.8 billion.
This amount represents approximately 75.11% of the company's total ETH holdings, indicating an aggressive strategy to maximize yields from its assets.
Staking itself allows ETH holders to earn returns by participating in the network validation process.
This move also signals long-term confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem, especially amid developments in the DeFi sector and blockchain infrastructure.
However, large exposure to staking also carries risks, including price volatility and potential changes in network conditions.
With a significant allocation, Bitmine's movement becomes an important indicator in observing institutional strategies toward crypto assets.
