These past two days, we’ve been talking about parallelism and sharding again. Anyway, the story has been pretty lively, but no matter how I look, it’s still the same few concerns: where to put your assets, what to do when something goes wrong and how to withdraw, and whether the chain will get stuck during the withdrawal—enough to make you question your life. Last night, I watched the packing rhythm jerk in starts and stops, and gas drifted up like smoke. When you really want to pull out, that “technical route” can’t save you.

Also, some people are complaining about on-chain data tools and the tagging system being laggy, or even that they can be used to mislead… I can understand why. Once tags get used to drive the narrative, ordinary people easily end up filling in the blanks with their imagination. Straight to the point, I trust myself more when I keep watching the mempool and the actual trade/transfer path—at least it won’t pretend to know you.

What I fear most isn’t losing money—it’s losing control: the money is still on-chain, but you can’t move it, you can’t see clearly, and you don’t even know which button to press next. For now, that’s it. Today, I’ll keep acting as a smoke alarm.
