I found that unrealized losses really affect sleep more than unrealized gains… Clearly, these are all "unsettled" numbers. When I’m making a profit, I treat it as extra food; when I’m at a loss, my mind automatically considers it as money already lost. The more I think about it, the more I feel dissatisfied, and I can’t help but check the chain and group chat in the middle of the night. Recently, before and after the main chain upgrade/maintenance, everyone in the group was guessing whether the ecosystem would migrate. I also felt anxious: what if the bridge has issues, what if liquidity suddenly drops, and unrealized losses instantly turn into real losses—that feeling is too sharp. Anyway, I’m now willing to take an extra step for safety: before each cross-chain transfer, wait ten more minutes, try a small amount first, and revoke permissions if possible. It’s a bit troublesome, but at least I can sleep more peacefully.
