Bitmine Adds Staking of 112,000 ETH, Total Exceeds $8,8 Billion
Crypto company Bitmine, led by Tom Lee, is once again increasing its exposure to Ethereum through staking activities.
Bitmine reportedly added staking of 112.656 ETH with a value of approximately $260 juta.
With this addition, the total ETH that Bitmine has staked reaches around 3.814.245 ETH, with a valuation of about $8,8 billion.
This figure represents roughly 75.11% of the company’s total ETH holdings, indicating an aggressive strategy to maximize yield from the assets it holds.
Staking itself enables ETH holders to earn returns by participating in the network validation process.
This move also signals long-term confidence in the Ethereum ecosystem, especially amid the development of the DeFi sector and blockchain infrastructure.
However, large exposure to staking also comes with risks, including price volatility and the potential for changes in network conditions.
With a significant allocation, Bitmine’s moves become one of the key indicators for assessing institutional strategies toward crypto assets.
