Mars Finance News reported on April 28. According to a report from Japan on the 25th, artificial intelligence is deeply involved in U.S. military strike operations against Iran. Among them, data analytics giant Palantir Technologies provides the core system and is responsible for operating the U.S. Department of Defense’s military artificial intelligence program—“Maven Program,” which has drawn criticism. While some support AI’s deep involvement in military operations, there are also many voices opposing it. U.S. analyst Manson said that those who support the “Maven Program” believe that artificial intelligence can provide a path to gaining the initiative and help the U.S. military increase its scale of combat and accelerate its pace of operations. They also believe AI can provide accuracy. However, this has also prompted opposition, with critics arguing that it could backfire—AI may harm civilians and bring atrocities in future combat scenarios. (CCTV News)
