A very heartbreaking fact


Your good and bad reputation in others' mouths actually only relates to their own interests.
If you align with their interests, they will praise you and lift you up; if you don't, they will criticize, suppress, and even slander you.
As long as you understand this, there's no need to care about how you appear in others' eyes, and there's no need for them to praise you.
The greatest clarity for adults is to never live in others' words; don't take kind words seriously, and don't take harsh words to heart.
Just be yourself, and no one can restrain you.
