Mars Finance News April 28 – “Time” magazine announced the list of the “Top 10 Most Influential Artificial Intelligence Companies of 2026.” Unlike simply comparing model capabilities, this list emphasizes the comprehensive shaping power over industry, technological pathways, and social impact. Three Chinese AI companies were selected: Alibaba, ByteDance, and Zhipu. “Time” magazine pointed out that Chinese tech giant Alibaba has become a dominant force in the AI field in less than three years, with its open-source AI model Qianwen surpassing 1 billion downloads, making it the most popular open-source model series worldwide. ByteDance’s AI assistant Doubao saw daily active users exceed 100 million during the Lunar New Year, with weekly active users surpassing 155 million. Zhipu became China’s first large language model company to complete an IPO listing in Hong Kong; its GLM-5 model outperformed Gemini 3 Pro in some parameters, and it runs on Huawei processors. Also included on the list are OpenAI, Alphabet, Meta, Amazon, Anthropic, Mistral, and Hugging Face. (Wide-angle Observation)
