Lately, I feel that attention is the most valuable asset. As soon as a hot topic changes, my hands get itchy. I click in to take a quick look and start mentally debating "Should I chase this?" Especially these past two days, someone has been interpreting on-chain large transfers and exchange hot and cold wallet movements as "smart money," which basically means giving you a seemingly solid reason for your emotions. In reality, I am often just providing liquidity for others. Anyway, I now try to only look at funding rates and the basis between futures and spot. If it doesn't hit my set range, I just ignore it, and if I miss out, so be it. If I could keep only one habit, it would be: not chasing trending searches.
