Do you think clicking "Send" means the transaction will go on the chain obediently?

Honestly, most of the time it first queues up at the mempool entrance: if the fee isn't "sincere" enough, it gets left behind, and during congestion, it can even be replaced by the same transaction (some people keep increasing the fee to push you out), and worse, if it takes too long and expires or you cancel it yourself, your mood just skyrockets.
Right now, I test small amounts during congestion, and if I really need to cross-chain, I don't push hard; I watch the monitoring first and then send in batches, to avoid thinking something went wrong again if the bridge is slow to credit.
Recently, the L2s are arguing about TPS, fees, and subsidies, which I also find amusing, but when you actually make a transaction, the most direct concern is: can this transaction make it into the next block…
Anyway, don’t treat "submitted" as "completed."
