Meta may withdraw from the $2.5 billion acquisition of AI startup Manus

Mars Finance News, according to The Wall Street Journal, Meta is preparing to withdraw its acquisition of AI startup Manus, which China previously banned on national security grounds. Manus is a startup related to China, headquartered in Singapore, focused on developing AI agents. Meta completed the acquisition in December last year for $2.5 billion and has quickly integrated the related technology into its own systems. If the deal is ultimately canceled, both parties will need to split the integrated technology and systems.
