Change your impatience, and you are changing your destiny.
Impatience is a kind of heavy negative energy; to some extent, it is even a disease.
People with quick tempers live like a string constantly tense, eager to see results immediately, pursuing perfection with a single strike. But when faced with slight setbacks, they easily fall into a whirlpool of anxiety and self-doubt. This impatient state not only fails to accelerate growth but also disrupts the rhythm, causing mistakes to pile up one after another. The negative emotions that follow not only overshadow oneself but also affect those around.
The essence of impatience is the greed to skip the process and directly obtain the result, and to desire an idealized outcome. However, all things in heaven and earth follow their own laws: flowers bloom in spring, fruits ripen in autumn, the sun rises and the moon sets in an orderly cycle. Such laws are never changed by human impatience. What we can do is observe, follow, and utilize them, but we can never rush them. When people are calm, things are smooth; when things are slow, they are complete. It’s like trying to grasp a handful of sand— the tighter you hold, the faster it slips away. The more you want to control, the easier you are to lose control.
An ancient saying goes, “A peaceful mind can heal three thousand ailments; a calm heart can understand the principles of all things.” Wind cannot be caught, water cannot be held tightly. Many things in this world, the more you push, the more likely you are to lose them. The same applies to people, matters, and wealth. Learn to take it slow. Don’t rush small matters; don’t hastily make decisions on big ones. Accumulate steadily, act cautiously at the start, and respect the end. Let your heart settle, slow down the rhythm, and fate will, at the right time, give you the answers you deserve.
