Deep Tide TechFlow news. On April 28, according to The Wall Street Journal, Meta is preparing to revoke its acquisition of the AI startup Manus after China banned the deal on April 27 on national security grounds.



Manus is a China-linked startup headquartered in Singapore that focuses on developing AI agents. Meta completed the acquisition for $2.5 billion last December and has quickly integrated the relevant technology into its own systems. If the deal is ultimately called off, both parties will need to split the integrated technology and systems.
