I am increasingly feeling that grid/DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) "slow patching" is more suited to my sleep... Watching a full sweep is satisfying, but you have to endure the heartbeat from your phone vibrating in the middle of the night. Frankly, I don't have such strong emotional control, so I prefer to split the gains: part of it is subsidies, and the other part is actually betting on volatility and time, don’t be dazzled by the APY.
Recently, cross-chain bridges have had issues again, and oracles' quotes have been acting up, everyone is just "waiting for confirmation," and I can only wait along. The more these moments happen, the more the anxiety of a full sweep amplifies; instead, grid/DCA feels like patching the position, small repairs here and there, if something goes wrong, it’s not like the whole life needs a reinstallation. Anyway, I prioritize survival, earning more or less is up to fate.
