SlowMist said ZetaChain was exploited, and preliminary analysis linked the issue to the GatewayZEVM contract’s call function. SlowMist said the function lacked access control and input validation. SlowMist said attackers forged cross-chain events to trigger malicious relayer execution and transfer funds.
