Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 28th, according to official sources, Block announced the launch of a new Bitkey hardware wallet equipped with a secure touchscreen, and went live on Cash App to automatically convert received peer-to-peer payments into Bitcoin, with a 5% Bitcoin cashback on Square merchant transactions.
At the same time, Block has enabled proof of reserves for its corporate treasury Bitcoin holdings, as well as for Cash App and Square customer holdings, supporting independent verification through on-chain signatures. Additionally, it is reported that Block will showcase Square's NFC-based Bitcoin touch payment at Bitcoin Las Vegas 2026 and promote the development of Proto Bitcoin mining product suite.
