In December 2017, the Greek legend, Bitcoin educator Andreas Antonopoulos, was mocked for his poverty after five years of teaching Bitcoin at seminars and on YouTube, after which the Bitcoin community sent him $1.5 million.

Roger Ver, the founder of Bcash, mocked him on Twitter for not owning much Bitcoin.

Andreas replied that he bought Bitcoin early, but sold it in 2013 to cover his home rent and support his family due to the difficulty of his financial situation.

Within 48 hours, more than a thousand anonymous people sent him more than 100 Bitcoin, and one person sent 79 Bitcoin, worth over a million dollars back then.

Andreas Antonopoulos produced hundreds of free seminars and lectures ( more than 600 educational videos without ads, in addition to more than 250 appearances and lectures ), along with a number of free educational lessons and workshops, and he authored approximately 5-6 technical and economic educational books in the field of Bitcoin.
