A train accident occurred at the Bekasi Timur Station area on Monday (27/4/2026) night. The Argo Bromo train on the Gambir-Surabaya Pasarturi route collided with a commuter train that was stopped.
As a result of the incident, several KRL passengers sustained injuries and received immediate first aid from medical personnel on site. Some victims were seen being evacuated for further treatment.
Based on initial information, the incident began when a car broke down at a level crossing near Bekasi Timur Station.
This condition caused the KRL's journey to be disrupted, and the train was forced to stop for about five minutes. While the KRL was still stopped, suddenly the Argo Bromo Anggrek 4 on the Gambir-Surabaya Pasarturi route came and collided with the KRL.
