Recently, I keep experiencing "lags" when viewing on-chain data, not the kind of lag caused by my internet suddenly worsening, but more like an indexer/subgraph catching up: when a new block arrives, it needs to be fetched, parsed, and then inserted into the database. When you check from the front end, it just happens to hit the update window, causing a brief freeze or slowdown. Plus, RPC calls are rate-limited, especially when the market is volatile and everyone is clicking, the node will directly respond with "try again later"... Basically, the data pipeline is queuing.

Now I’ve become more calm; when I place a withdrawal order, I just treat the delay as normal, and don’t get angry about the second-by-second numbers. By the way, hardware wallets are currently out of stock, and phishing links are rampant. The more data lag there is, the easier it is for people to panic click. I personally prefer to wait two more minutes rather than click on unfamiliar redirects.

A few days ago, I also followed a tool that claimed to be "fast reporting," but later I found out that it is fast sometimes but also makes huge errors occasionally. My mindset shifted from "Wow, so awesome" to "Forget it, don’t let it affect my orders," and I unfollowed it to avoid being influenced. Anyway, I stick to my own extreme prices, whether it works out or not, I see it as a form of fun or paying tuition.
