The U.S. claims to be aware of military operations in Lebanon during the ceasefire, does not support Israel's long-term establishment of a "buffer zone."
BlockBeats News, April 28 — According to CCTV News, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on April 27 local time that the U.S. is “aware” of Israel’s military strike actions in Lebanon during the ceasefire.
When asked whether he supports Israel establishing a long-term “buffer zone” in Lebanon, Rubio said “does not support,” adding that the ideal outcome is that there is no need for the Israeli military to remain deployed there long term.
