Former core researcher at Google’s AI division DeepMind announced on Monday that the startup Ineffable Intelligence, which was established only a few months ago, has completed a seed round of funding worth up to $1.1 billion. This company focuses on the development of superintelligence. The company stated that this round of funding is the largest seed round in European history, with an overall post-money valuation of $51 billion. The funding was led jointly by American venture capital firms Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Nvidia, DST Global, Index Ventures, Google, the UK National Artificial Intelligence Sovereign Fund, and other institutions.
