Iran-Linked Tankers Sail West After U.S. Boarding Inspection Near Sri Lanka

Two Iran-linked supertankers are sailing west across the Indian Ocean after the U.S. military boarded and inspected them near Sri Lanka on April 21 and 23. The Pentagon said the operations involved the Tiffany and the Phoenix, but it did not disclose what happened to the vessels afterward. The United States also has not stated its specific intentions, while both tankers continue to transmit the same destinations as before the interception.
