ZetaChain announces GatewayEVM contract was attacked, cross-chain transactions have been paused
BlockBeats News, April 28 — According to official sources, ZetaChain announced today that the GatewayEVM contract was attacked, but only the internal team wallets of ZetaChain were affected. The team has blocked the attack vector, ensuring no additional funds are at risk, and will release a detailed post-incident report after the investigation is complete. Currently, as a precaution, ZetaChain has suspended cross-chain transactions.
