Lately I feel like I’ve been pulled along by the "attention economy," today excited about this, tomorrow about that, and as soon as my emotions flare up, I want to chase after it. When I look back, it’s mostly just me carrying water for others... I’ve learned to be a bit smarter now: first don’t look at the K-line, look at how the money is moving, how quickly it changes hands. The bigger the hype, the more likely it’s a short-term play.

It’s like recently Layer 2 projects are again competing in TPS, fees, and subsidies, causing quite a fuss. At first, I didn’t realize what was happening; I scrolled for a while before I understood everyone was taking sides. Honestly, the more intense the mudslinging, the more I want to slow down: wait for a round of trending topics to pass, then see if on-chain funds are still there. If not, forget it.

I’m not unwilling to seize opportunities, but I’m afraid I keep getting led by "new narratives" every time. So I’ve set a simple rule for myself: keep hot topics for 24 hours first, if I can resist, then decide whether to participate; if I can’t, just treat it as paying tuition. That’s it for now.
