Recently, I've been watching whale addresses on the chain, and someone keeps shouting "Follow this wave," which makes me want to roll my eyes... Large transactions in and out of the same wallet don't necessarily mean building a position; many times it's hedging, arbitrage, or even changing routes to save on slippage. To put it simply, first see if they've closed their risks: whether they've opened a reverse position on the other side, or dispersed withdrawals across different pools. Now, AI Agents are popular for automatic interactions, and the narratives are so exaggerated they sound like poetry. When it comes to signing permissions and routing contracts, anyone who scrutinizes security will blow their cover. Anyway, before copying trades, I first try to guess their trading intent accurately—otherwise, slippage will teach you a lesson, more precise than the market itself.
