Lately, I've really been overwhelmed by the attention economy.

As soon as a hot topic emerges, I get itchy to jump in, scrolling Twitter for two hours feeling like if I don't buy in, I'll miss out on life...
But the likely outcome is that I'm just providing liquidity for others.
Now I've set a simple rule for myself: the faster the hot topics rotate, the slower I am to react; I’ll wait three days first, and only pay attention to narratives that survive three days.

The whole blockchain game scene collapsing is quite typical too: inflation hits the max, studios jump in, coin prices spiral, and in the end, all that's left is a group comforting each other with "next version will be better."
Honestly, attention is just fuel; without new players stepping in, it just burns out.

I see simplicity as a trap: any "opportunity that can be explained in one sentence" is probably also the kind that can cut you clean in one sentence.
Anyway, I’d rather miss out now than keep replaying in my head why I was so reckless again.
That’s all for now.
