I just saw that the Hong Kong police froze 228 million HKD in assets related to the JPEX case. There are already 80 arrests, and investigations are ongoing. The craziest part is that they say it's the biggest scam in years there: over 2,700 victims and 1.6 billion in total losses. Recently, 10 more people were charged with money laundering. What catches my attention is that no one has admitted to being the true operator of the platform yet. The police are still searching for the masterminds behind all this. A million questions: how is it possible that with so much documented fraud, they still haven't identified the main responsible parties? This JPEX case is brutal in terms of scale. Does anyone have any idea how they manage to hide like this?
