Just now I got the itch to chase a position again, almost turning my holdings into an emotional trash can… Right now, I force myself to ask one thing first: Am I topping up information, or am I topping up a sense of security? To put it plainly, if the only reason is “everyone’s going in” or “if I miss out, I won’t be able to sleep,” then it’s probably not an opportunity—it’s my mindset using leverage on emotions.
Lately, the testnet incentives and points scheme has been heating up again. The group chats are guessing every day whether the mainnet will issue tokens, and I get pulled along by the excitement too. But I set a little exercise for myself: first, turn what I’m going to do into one sentence of plain human language—what certainty have I actually seen? If I don’t have any, then I reduce my position size; or I simply go to the bridge’s monitoring panel and take a couple of laps to cool down… Big amounts always wait until the audits and alerts are reviewed—taking it slow isn’t anything to be ashamed of.
