I look at CryptoQuant metrics and see an interesting trend: long-term Bitcoin holders are clearly increasing their positions. Over the past few months, the volume of BTC held for longer than a year has grown from about 12 million to 12.4 million. The increase is small but significant — it seems the market is slowly shifting from a speculation mode to a long-term accumulation mode.

CryptoQuant data shows a steady trend over the last 30 days: a 17.51% increase in a month. This hints that investors prefer to hold rather than actively trade. Looking at Bitcoin’s historical cycles, the share of long-term holdings usually drops sharply before market peaks and recovers during bear periods. The current picture looks like an early signal of stabilization.

CryptoQuant analysts note that this is still an early stage — such trends take time to form a clear pattern. But the fact remains: speculative fervor is clearly cooling down, and this could be a key indicator for those monitoring market structure. It will be interesting to see how this develops further.
