Whenever a new hot topic comes up, I tend to get itchy to jump in.

Scrolling through someone sharing new tasks and points in a certain L2 alley, my mind automatically fills in the plot: if I don’t rush in, I’ll miss out.
Later I realized that attention is the most valuable; being led around by the nose is like handing over a knife for others to cut.
Now I set a rule for myself: if I don’t understand where the money is coming from or what the risks are, I’ll close the page and do something else first, even if I miss out, I accept it.
Especially when I see cross-chain bridges having issues or oracles giving erratic quotes, and the group is all saying “wait for confirmation,” I also wait, even if it’s a bit slower.
Honestly, the faster the hot topics rotate, the more I need to take back the rhythm.
What I fear most isn’t missing opportunities, but losing my patience and judgment along with them.
