Oh, I just learned about the new X rules regarding author earnings. It turns out that aggregated accounts will now receive only 60% of the distribution, and in the next cycle, this will decrease by another 20%. Apparently, this is because the feed is simply filled with clickbait and plagiarism every day.

I'm curious, how will they even control this? Nikita Bir, Product X, explained that the amount of clickbait content not only pushes out genuine authors but also discourages newcomers. So now, they will penalize those who constantly clickbait and write "BREAKING" in every post.

Basically, the platform won't ban writing whatever you want, but they definitely won't pay for manipulating distribution mechanisms. Sounds fair, but how this will work in practice is still a question. What’s your take on this?
