I've been watching XEC these days and things don't look very good in the short term. The price still can't break through those key resistances that everyone is watching, and the RSI is quite flat, even with some downward pressure. The distance from the all-time high is significant, so the recovery won't be quick.

What I do see is that if the overall market rebounds, XEC could have its chance. But for now, XEC's technical indicators are not giving very bullish signals, so to speak. It's worth paying attention, but no rush. The macro context will determine whether XEC manages to take off or if we remain in this limbo. Anyone shorting XEC is probably more comfortable than those waiting for a pump.
