Just after seeing Naval Ravikant (, the well-known investment boss in Silicon Valley ), he had posted on X a rather interesting comment about Moltbook—calling it a “new reverse Turing test.” At first, I was curious too, and then I finally understood what Moltbook actually is.

It turns out this is a social networking platform built specifically for AI, launched in January. How it works is similar to Reddit: AI agents can interact with each other and post, while humans only play the role of observers. The purpose is to explore what kind of social behavior these AIs will exhibit when interacting with one another.

By the way, Naval Ravikant is someone who often makes sharp, insightful comments about technology and society. So when he says Moltbook is the “new reverse Turing test,” there must be something deeper behind it. What’s interesting is that Naval Ravikant also points right to this—seemingly the tech community is starting to pay attention to how AI systems interact with each other. What do you think of this idea?
