Abstract generation in progress

The Middle East situation remains unpredictable, and international oil prices have performed steadily during the week, providing some support to downstream chemical products. PET bottle chips have slightly increased supported by polyester raw materials. Fundamentally, supply of bottle chips has increased while demand remains stable. On the supply side, some plants have resumed operation, leading to a slight tightening of supply; future focus will be on the operational status of Yisheng and Sanfangxiang large factories. The domestic market for polyester bottle chips is mainly driven by rigid demand, while overseas demand still performs reasonably well. Polyester bottle chip factories are more willing to maintain prices and tend to accept export orders, with processing ranges remaining high. Overall, the price center of polyester bottle chips is anchored to fluctuations in upstream costs, and with good export orders, support keeps processing fees for bottle chips firm. (CITIC Futures)
