DeBot's security incident caused quite a significant amount of damage. It seems that wallet information leaked during the data center expansion in December of last year was exploited, and users had about $250k stolen. It appears that only wallets created before December 10th were affected, but still, that's a considerable amount.

DeBot announced that they will fully compensate for the damages and even created a compensation registration page. Refunds are expected within 72 hours, but quick response times are crucial in such situations. However, it seems their stance is that they are not responsible for additional losses incurred by users who did not transfer assets from risky wallets.

Ultimately, while the security incident itself could not be prevented, the key point in evaluation is whether they properly handled the aftermath and provided compensation.
