I noticed an interesting point in discussions about cryptocurrencies. Interoperability is not just some technical feature that developers added as a formality. It is truly the foundation on which the transition of crypto from a speculative tool to something more serious is built.
For now, most people see cryptocurrencies only as an opportunity to make money, but interoperability is exactly what will allow the system to evolve further. When different blockchains start communicating properly with each other, when assets can move freely between networks without obstacles, then we will truly approach the point where crypto becomes part of the global financial infrastructure, not just a speculative bubble.
Projects like XLM have understood this for a long time. Their focus is precisely on building bridges between different financial systems. And this is the right development direction because interoperability is a condition without which crypto simply cannot scale truly. It’s interesting to see how the industry is gradually realizing this necessity.
