Lately, many people have been saying "It's all written on the chain," but what you see on the chain can also be delayed... slow node synchronization, RPC being rate-limited when using public endpoints, indexers re-running to import data—if any link in the chain stalls, your "real-time" becomes "just saw it a moment ago." Sometimes it's not that others know first, but that your blockchain explorer refreshes slowly, and you blame others for cutting in line.

Now I usually open two or three RPCs to compare when checking the chain; the timestamps/statuses of the same transaction displayed on different platforms can be different, which is pretty outrageous but also normal. As for the staking "compound yield" hype, which is causing a lot of noise, it’s actually more important to first confirm whether the data source can keep up. Otherwise, using a delayed dashboard to make emotional trades is basically just inviting frustration. Anyway, I’d rather confirm things a bit slower than get caught up in fake real-time hype.
