Recently, I noticed an interesting market phenomenon. After 2026, the discussion volume for Ethereum, Solana, and Ripple has significantly increased, each brewing different growth narratives.
First, let's talk about Ethereum. The Prague upgrade indeed changed the game, drastically reducing transaction costs and improving network speed. Currently, ETH is priced around $2.31k, compared to nearly $5k at its peak in 2025, offering a pretty good entry point for long-term holders. I see traditional financial giants like BlackRock and JPMorgan increasingly involved in tokenization projects on Ethereum, signaling clear institutional adoption. With dominance in DeFi and applications in real-world asset tracking, Ethereum's role in 2026 will become even more important.
Solana's situation is also worth noting. The Firedancer upgrade pushed Solana's throughput beyond one million transactions per second, which is rare in the entire crypto ecosystem. Although the price recently retraced to around $85, the staked value within its ecosystem has remained stable, indicating that developers and users haven't exited. Traders and the NFT community continue to be active due to Solana's speed and low fees, and this practical application support is often underestimated by the market.
Then there's Ripple. The most critical development is that legal issues finally have a clear answer. After the SEC dispute was resolved, regulatory risks are essentially eliminated. XRP is now trading at about $1.42 and actively integrating into international banks' cross-border payment systems. Its compatibility with the ISO 20022 standard has attracted the attention of central banks and institutional investors. This functional demand provides real support for XRP, not just hype.
The overall market logic is clear: projects that combine technological upgrades, institutional adoption, and real-world applications are the true growth candidates for 2026. Ethereum is efficient, Solana has speed, and Ripple addresses genuine banking needs. Each has established a foothold in its own track. If you're following these projects, you can check their real-time prices and ecosystem developments on Gate for a more intuitive understanding.
