Last night, the network was congested again like rush hour.

My swap was queued in the mempool so long I started doubting my life…
First, the wallet said it was sent, then came the long wait for “miners to do their thing,”
When gas is low, it gets front-run; when gas is high, I worry I’ll become exit liquidity intern.
Honestly, during congestion, your transaction is just a small note,
Being scrutinized by a bunch of people (and bots) with magnifying glasses:
If it can be snatched, they snatch; if it can be front-run, they front-run,
In the end, you might settle at a worse price, or just get stuck and fail after expiration, paying some fees as tuition.
Recently, the AI agent/auto-trading scene has been lively again,
The narrative is hyped up, but I see it more like…
Outsourcing interaction to scripts, rather than…
Outsourcing security to luck.
Anyway, I only have two things right now:
Don’t rush to chase the hype, and before confirming, take a closer look at slippage and deadlines.
