Japanese and South Korean stock markets both hit record closing highs, with South Korea's KOSPI index rising by 2.15%.

Odaily Planet Daily News: The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 821.18 points on April 27th (Monday), a 1.38% increase, at 60,537.36 points; South Korea’s KOSPI Index closed up 139.4 points on April 27th (Monday), a 2.15% increase, at 6,615.03 points, both hitting record high closing levels, with the Nikkei 225 Index closing above 60,000 points for the first time.
