These days, the messages in the group chat are flooding so fast it makes my scalp feel numb—screenshots here, “internal” there. The KOLs aren’t any better; they talk like whether you follow along or not determines whether you’ll miss the era. But once it’s your hand shaking and you actually buy in, who’s responsible if you end up losing money? Put simply, the ones who impulsively buy are always the ones who take the hit—others can at most add a bit of emotion.
Especially now, whenever a new L1/L2 launches with incentives, they go into a frenzy to pull in TVL. Old users complain about “mining and selling,” and I think that’s pretty accurate… The fun is fun, but liquidity comes quickly and leaves just as fast. Once the off-chain emotions hit their limit, the on-chain side starts to reap. Anyway, I’ve been going a bit slower lately—first, see whether the funds are actually sticking around or just passing through, and don’t let the flood of information push you around. That’s it for now—I’m going to get to work.
