Recently, I've seen people watching large on-chain transfers and hot/cold wallets on exchanges, shouting "Smart money is coming/going" whenever there's movement... I always react a half beat too late. By the time I open and finish checking, my emotions have already cooled down, and I generally don't follow the jumps anyway.

Speaking of custody, when my assets were smaller, I felt pretty secure using a hardware wallet, like putting cash in a safe—just don’t mind the hassle. Once I had a bit more in assets and needed to adjust my positions more often, I started to feel a bit uneasy with single signatures. If I lost my keys or got phished once, it would be game over. Multi-signature feels like adding two more doors for myself—slower to operate but more secure. I’m actually quite tempted to restore social recovery (after all, more people mean more strength), but I also worry that “finding friends to be guardians” might turn into a social death scene... So right now, I’m using: small hot wallets for frequent use, multi-signature for main holdings, and hardware as part of the key. That’s it for now—less watching “smart money” to avoid getting itchy fingers.
