Recently, people keep asking me, "Isn't on-chain data real-time?" Basically, what you're seeing is the "version" provided by nodes/RPC/indexers. RPC is busy, nodes are lagging, indexes are still rebuilding, and in the end, it becomes: the transaction was confirmed on-chain a long time ago, but your dashboard still shows yesterday; or the timestamp and labels for the same transaction don't match across different tools. Recently, those on-chain data tools and labeling systems have been criticized for lagging or being misleading, which doesn't surprise me at all—on-chain truth also has to go through several layers of "translation."

If you can only keep one habit, it’s: don’t rely on just one data source for key addresses/transactions; at least cross-verify once.
