Lately, the on-chain data has been "lagging" all the time. At first, I thought my internet was acting up again... Then I realized it's probably the indexer/Subgraph chasing blocks, reorganizing, or RPC being rate-limited. It looks like the same transaction flickers in and out, but actually the backend is just catching up: cache not updated, requests being throttled, index not finished running. It's not that the chain suddenly "slowed down," it's the window you're looking through that’s stuck.

Recently, everyone has been comparing RWA, US bond yields, to on-chain yield products. I'm more concerned about data sources dropping the ball: no matter how good the yield looks, if the readings jitter, it’s easy to get carried away.

Why am I so calm? My habit is pretty old-school: I check the same information through at least two different sources (browser + my usual RPC/another subgraph). If they don’t match, I just assume nothing happened... Otherwise, I’d have to treat it as a reverse indicator again. Let’s leave it at that for now.
