I find that stop-loss really feels a lot like breaking up... The more you drag it out, the more you want to find reasons to "wait a bit longer," but in the end, watching the market every day just drains your emotions and also costs you more in funding rates/opportunity costs. Honestly, admitting defeat is the hardest part, but once you do, it becomes easier, and you sleep better at night.

These days, I've been talking about interest rate cut expectations, the US dollar index, and risk assets acting up together—going up and down together—that kind of feeling can really mess with your head. I've set a small rule for myself: once the logic changes, I leave, and I don't hold onto "wait until I break even" as my belief. Better to be decent about it. Stay calm.
