Last night, I saw a bunch of people discussing sharding and parallel processing, it was as lively as a windstorm on the sea. I was also quite tempted, but after calming down and thinking about it, no matter how beautiful the technical narrative is, when it really comes down to your wallet, asset security is the most reliable. Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are ridiculously numerous, indicating that although people talk about decentralization, they still get nervous in practice... Anyway, now every time I visit a new site, I first think through the exit strategy: where the money comes in, whether it can be withdrawn, and where it will land if it’s withdrawn. Conclusion: chasing the hype is fine, but don’t leave the “ability to run” to luck.
