Lately, I really feel that being a bit "slower" is quite important, especially when holding positions. I usually just see floating gains as an extra number on the screen; a two-minute happiness that’s gone. But if I have a floating loss, even if I haven't sold, my mind automatically starts to imagine: Will it drop again? Should I add more? Did I choose the wrong route causing slippage and losses… Honestly, that loss feels like a hook, hanging there, making it hard to sleep peacefully.

My current clumsy method is to be half a beat slower: not watching the market at midnight, not changing strategies on the spot, first writing down stop-loss/add-position conditions in a memo, and following the rules. By the way, I want to complain about this airdrop season—task platforms with anti-witchcraft + points systems make it feel like clocking in at work. I want to go for it too, but I’m afraid that rushing might get me slippage and emotional losses together… Anyway, I’ll slow down first, eat the noodles one bite at a time, and avoid choking.
